All Unity-based Modicon Quantum CPUs sold before February 2005 have a potential execution issue related to the Modbus Request 05 instruction. This Product Safety Notice covers Unity-based Modicon Quantum CPUs installed on site, products in stock and spare parts.
This Notice does not involve Unity-based Modicon Quantum processors that were released for sale in or after March 2005. These products were updated prior to sale.
NOTE: The 140CPU43412A and 140CPU53414A CPUs were originally loaded with a Concept/ProWORX exec and are affected only if the user has loaded the Unity exec.
